  Look for board certifications (ABFPRS) and (ASAPS). Also, a board certified anesthesiologist if you are seeking a rhytidectomy (facelift). This is paramount to a good outcome from your surgery and neither are available at Guyette Surgery Center. My life has changed for the worse after this elective surgery. I suffered from nerve damage, causing excruciating facial and pinna pain along with shrinkage of my parotid gland, very poor cosmetic outcome with a large uncorrectable bulge in my right cheek due to overzealous resection, and redundant skin from upper lid blepharoplasty. I have been seen by three board certified facial plastic surgeons for their review regarding this botched surgery. One corrected the redundant skin and attempted external manipulation of large bulge in my right cheek to lessen the gross appearance. The number of neurosurgeons, pain management physicians, and a litany of other physicians has been monumental. I have been unable to work as a radiation therapist and now can only perform light duties at home - my "life changing" facelift. Please due your due diligence. In addition to appropriate physician certifications, make sure the operating arena is AAAHC.
  Websites can be misleading as to a physician's board certifications.
